Aerial Slow Motion Training
"Slow movement, supported in suspension".
Formation au Grand-Bornand
En Immersion | 25 – 31 mai 2026 | 50h
(1h from Geneva and 45 min. from Annecy)

SoDakini's 50-hour Aerial Slow Motion course is a new approach to the use of hammocks and suspension. Developed by Delphine SoDakini, it is for those who love body movement and wish to open up to a somatic and therapeutic approach. Integrate it into their practice, and/or enrich their knowledge in order to pass on Aerial Slow Motion with the foundations for coherent teaching.
"Training for you or with the desire to teach".
This training was born after several years of exploration and study of aerial yoga and its possibilities. Aerial Yoga and its possibilitiesSomatic Movement and gravity as a tool.
My practice ofEmbodied Yoga and Suspension Yoga complemented my desire to use the hammock as a sensory tool on which to develop greater proprioception and awareness of the Self through the body.
So I started exploring different ways of approaching it and created my first training in 2021 "Aerial Yoga Teacher Training SoDakini"followed by "Aerial Slow Motion" a few years later.
"This training has been very rich in lessons for myself, as well as for my practice and teaching of yoga. The different aspects of the approach taught (anatomy, listening to and observing feelings and the state of being in general, influencing and taking into account unconscious patterns, relaxing the nervous system, etc.) and the moments of experimentation have enabled me to become aware of things that are already useful to me on a daily basis and are bringing about beneficial changes. Thank you Delphine!" Anne-Laure Beruard
"More awareness and fluidity in movement".
Aerial Slow Motion is a slow, listening practice based on the principles ofusing gravity, the connected body, joint movement and support in movement. A source of mind/body regeneration for greater lightness, ease and connection.
« Pour pouvoir bouger il faut pouvoir trouver un sentiment de sécurité first en s’encrant, en se déposant »
In this training you'll learn the basics of Aerial Slow Motion and how to teach it with integrity towards the body and an open, conscious mind.
At the end of the course you will have the knowledge and a coherent structure to guide your own classes so that you can lead your students towards safe, creative and progressive development and/or develop new tools to enrich your own personal practice.
"A very comprehensive course, well balanced between theory and practice, thanks to which I was able to propose the new techniques I had learned directly to my students" Magali Mackinnion

Practitioner of the Rolfing® Method / Structural Integrationa manual and educational somatic postural therapy, using gravity as a support and the fascia system, the connective tissue that runs through the human body, enveloping it and linking it as a whole. This practice has opened me up to a vision of the body as a whole, so that the aim of movement is always to connect, not dissociate.
"The only thing constant in our lives is gravity!"
We are all subject to gravity throughout our lives! This force, which draws us into contact with the earth, is a source of support. To use it in your practice is to discover another relationship with your body and its possibilities for movement. By combining the support of a hammock with the awareness of gravity as a practice tool, our movements can become more fluid, harmonious and connected.
"Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished" Lao Tzu
Through specific movements supported by the hammock that combine slowness, gentleness and tonicity, Aerial Slow Motion is an invitation to slow down. Slow down to feel and reconnect with your original essence.
"An 'advanced' movement is any movement that brings us closer to the truth about who we really are" Donna Farhi

"This training is an opening onto an inner and sensitive world beyond the more "traditional" approaches to the use of the aerial hammock. The approach developed by Delphine emphasizes connected and supported sensitive exploration, a precious somatic and even therapeutic tool for anyone wishing to awaken in consciousness the amazing and formidable potential of our bodies. I really enjoyed the journey over the 6 days, the integration time/rhythm given through experimentation with postures and guided classes, the theoretical input, the time for exchanges... Thank you so much Delphine for your generous sharing and this transmission beyond what I could have imagined." Claire Desmoulins
